Below are photos of my visit to the home of the late Profesor S.S. Chern, maintained as a museum on the campus of Nankai University, Tianjin, China. Chern was one of the most influential mathematicians of the 20th century and his area of specialty was differential geometry. To me, the visit to Chern’s house was even more inspiring than seeing the Great Wall of China!
